The Best Places to Work in Kentucky program, created by HRG founder, Lyle Hanna, is a collaboration between the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM), and Workforce Research Group. The program uses a rigorous two-part survey system to evaluate companies on their workplace policies, practices, and employee satisfaction. Notably, 80% of the score is based on employee feedback, making this award a true testament to the employee experience. To ensure organizations are evaluated fairly, the program categorizes participants and winners by size (small, medium, and large) so they are evaluated alongside peers with comparable employee counts and resources. Being selected signals to current and prospective employees that an organization values its people and is dedicated to their personal and professional success.
